M-4s are slowly replacing scores of M-16s across the Department of Defense. The M-4 carbine is a more compact weapon than the M-16 leading armorers to find a new storage solution with barrel saddles needing to be lower on the back panel of weapon storage systems. Combat Weapon Storage Systems have changed the way weapons are being stored with adjustable barrel saddles for each individual weapon allowing many different types of weapons to be stored in the same storage system. Combat Weapon Storage Systems can be configured as stand alone units or mounted onto moveable carriages for a high density mobile shelving requirement.
