| Series 5000 Vertical Proof Files
No
other form of vital paper record protection is as fail-safe, dependable
or convenient as that provided by Schwab's Series 5000 line of fire
files. Available in two-, three- and four drawer models in both
letter and legal sizes, the Series 5000 comes with follower blocks
and frames for hanging folders. File interiors
can be customized to fit any number of special filing applications
and have flexible options such as the drawer-in-a-drawer for check filing
or index cards.

Each
Schwab Series 5000 vertical file is 31" deep with 26"
of front-to-back filing space and comes with a UL Class 350°
1 Hour Classification. Those rated as Fire Resistant assure protection
from temperatures reaching 1700° for one hour- far greater than
the normal business fire. Those rated as Fire and Impact Resistant
add the extra assurance that if the file falls through a floor,
up to 30 feet, or is hit by falling beams or debris, the drawers
will not draw open.
Series
2500 Vertical Files
This
series of vertical files is perfect for protecting paper documents
in a compact area such as an office workstation or home office.
Although smaller - only 25" deep - they are again available
with both the UL Class 350 - 1 Hour Fire Resistant and Fire and
Impact Resistant labels, so you may choose based on the intended
location of the file.
Available
in letter or legal size, and in two or four drawer models, each
drawer includes a movable divider and is perfect for
manila folders. They can also be easily upgraded for hanging folders.
The Hero
The
first thing you'll notice about Hero is its size. For a fire-protective
file, it is small. But then you'll notice the fine craftsmanship
and see that storage capacity has obviously not been sacrificed.
And that's when you'll know HERO is perfect for use in your home
or small office. It all starts inside where Schwab uses Insulite,
a chemically dry insulation. Insulite maintains its fire-protective
capabilities for a lifetime and is extremely efficient; meaning
less insulation is required to obtain UL Class 350 1 Hour protection.
So you get the benefits of UL Classified protection without the
rust, musty odor, weight and bulky size resulting from "baked"
or cured insulation. Available only in putty.
