Schwab's mixed media files are the only fire files offering UL classified protection for all types of media. The paper record storage drawers are tested and rated by UL to be Class 350 - 1 Hour, indicating internal temperatures stay below 350°F when exterior temperatures reach 1700°F. During the same 1700 F test, media drawers were UL Classified to maintain an internal temperature of 125°F without exceeding the 80 percent humidity level. This stringent standard is required to protect computer media. The construction of each file protects against magnetic interference as well.

Schwab Mixed Media Files are legal size, 31" deep and available in either two, three or four drawer versions with the top drawer always for paper storage. The Media Manager, a compact 25" deep, two-drawer file, with one paper drawer and one media drawer, is also available. This model is the perfect solution for office workstations. These files may be either right or left-hinged to allow placement anywhere at home or in the office. They come standard with inserts for either CDs or cartridges.

Media Cooler

The Schwab Media Cooler can turn your fire file into one which protects computer media too. Cassettes, cartridges, CDs, and diskettes fit easily into this compact and economical case. When the cooler, Manufacturer Certified 10 125°F, when used in conjunction with any U.L. Class 350 rated product, your computer media is protected from the heat and moisture of a fire. Schwab's Media Cooler has a spring loaded latch that automatically seals when the lid is closed.
